Well, we certainly didn’t expect to be announcing this quite so soon, but we have some rather exciting news for Tilda fans!<\/p>\n

Following the incredible success of Tilda Merry Little Christmas<\/strong> in 2025, Tilda have announced that this beautiful collection is coming back for 2027. This is something rather special too, as it marks the very first time Tilda have brought back one of their previous fabric collections for a reprint!<\/p>\n

Merry Little Christmas was already a little piece of Tilda history when it first launched in September 2025, being their first-ever Christmas fabric collection. It was an enormous success, with demand far exceeding expectations both here at Empress and around the world.<\/p>\n

\"\"In fact, our Christmas kits sold out within just three days of going on pre-order, with the individual fabrics and Tilda’s curated bundles following shortly afterwards. The entire collection had completely sold out before we’d even received our stock!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since then, we’ve had a steady stream of enquiries from customers hoping to get their hands on fabrics they missed out on, or simply wanting a little more of their favourites. We’ve even had over 50 enquiries recently as news of the reprint has started to spread!<\/p>\n

It’s not difficult to see why the collection was so popular. Designed by Tone Finnanger, Merry Little Christmas is full of the nostalgic charm that Tilda does so beautifully. Inspired in part by Tone’s Danish grandmother and traditional Scandinavian Christmas celebrations, the collection brings together cosy reds, soft duck egg blues, gentle greens and creams, with charming festive characters, delicate patterns and vintage-inspired designs.<\/p>\n

It’s a wonderful collection for Christmas quilts, stockings, cushions, decorations and all those handmade projects that make Christmas that little bit more special.<\/p>\n

\"\"The good news is that the collection will be returning in July 2027<\/strong>, with the beautiful individual cotton fabrics alongside Tilda’s curated Fat Quarter Bundles and coordinating pre-cut packs. Whether you missed out on the collection first time around or have been saving the last few pieces of your original fabrics for something special, this is a lovely opportunity to enjoy Merry Little Christmas all over again.<\/p>\n

We’re absolutely delighted that Tilda have decided to bring this collection back, and judging by the number of enquiries we’ve already received, we’re certainly not alone!<\/p>\n
